Dodge has been manufacturing pickup trucks since 1917 and the Dodge Ram model was introduced in 1981. Dodge produces a variety of configurations, both tub and cab. The most recent line of Dodge trucks included the Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab.
Mechanical aspect
The standard engine on the 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck is a 4.7-liter flex-fuel V8, which produces 310 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque. it has a five-speed automatic transmission. The braking system includes four anti-lock disc brakes. The Dodge Ram 1500 also includes an engine block heater, 700-amp battery and 160-amp alternator. Short-case models have 21-gallon (79.4-liter) gas tanks and long-case models are equipped with 27-gallon (102-liter) tanks.

Exterior
The exterior of the 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 features dual automatic halogen lamps, tinted glass, aluminum wheels and a locking tub door. The regular cab model offers a choice of six-foot, four-inch cargo box. The quad cab version has a six-foot with four inch cargo box and the double cab version has a five-foot and seven-inch cargo box.
Interior
Inside the Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck includes standard air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, remote control access and adjustable steering wheel. These Ram's also include premium vinyl door covers and soft-touch upholstery. Additional options include a display instrument panel and an information center with trip computer and compass.
Safety
All Ram 1500s include advanced driver and passenger airbags, plus curtain airbags on the sides. The Ram 1500 also has a Sentry Key engine immobilizer, a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, four-wheel traction control and trailer motion control. Ram 1500 trucks come equipped with power-assisted brakes, hill assist and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
Ram 1500 2022 Ram 1500 is more talented than most half-ton pickups. Keep in mind that it is capable of towing up to 12,750 pounds and hauling a payload of up to 2320 pounds.
